  • USS Sindbad (NCC-I823, Sawyer class light scout) has the distinct honor of carrying President Varis to Axanar for the signing of the Rehabilitation Treaty.[4]
  • The Kovaris and Dace light destroyer subclasses are retired from service with Star Fleet. At least twelve are mothballed.[6]
  • USS Vasco da Gama (NCC-1472, Aldrin deep space frigate) is lost in an engagement with the Klingons.[7]
  • USS Siva (NCC-520) is the first of her class to complete a refit to Siva Flight II configuration.[8]
  • The Icarus and Ashanti class battle cruisers and Apache class heavy destroyers begin receiving updated transporters.[9]
