Star Fleet Logistics
Star Fleet Logistics is charged with procuring-through Federation and corporate sources-the supplies and equipment Star Fleet will need, storing these resources in caches that support active and planned operations, and ensuring their timely arrival when needed. To do all this, Star Fleet Logistics works closely with Star Fleet Engineering, especially in regards to storage and transportation.
The Chief of Star Fleet Logistics is an Admiral, while the Deputy Chief of Star Fleet Logistics is a Vice Admiral.

- Office of Disposal, headed by a Rear Admiral, is responsible for sales and destruction of designated outdated materials, including decommissioned starships.
- Office of Distribution, headed by a Rear Admiral, administers and prioritizes distribution of every item within Star Fleet's purview, from food, weapons, ordnance, furniture, etc, to the operational assets of the fleet, working closely with Transport Command and the sister Logistics offices, to ensure their timely arrival.
- Office of Procurement, headed by a Rear Admiral, oversees the process of finding, agreeing to terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external contract source, often via a tendering or competitive bidding process. Once a one-time or ongoing source is determined, the sister Office of Distribution arranges for delivery.
- Office of Production, headed by a Rear Admiral, centralizes the direction of the production assets of Star Fleet, as usually operated by Star Fleet Engineering, to ensure production is properly prioritized to meet the timely requirements of the fleet as a whole.
- Office of Storage, headed by a Rear Admiral, is responsible for the mothballing and caching of Star Fleet assets deemed relevant to future operational plans. In this role, they work closely with Star Fleet Engineering to ensure items are properly demilitarized (when appropriate), delivered to designated storage facilities, and protected until future direction.
- Office of the Surplus, headed by a Rear Admiral, determines the future role of Star Fleet assets when the Secretary of Star Fleet, or his designated subordinates, orders the item stricken from the registry. The office does a complete and diligent review of the item/asset and decides whether or not it should be sold, mothballed, or destroyed.
The Chief of Star Fleet Logistics is a PC and handles the budget decisions for his component. He also handles the responsibilities of the six offices.
The Deputy Chief of Star Fleet Logistics, as well as the commanding officers of the six offices, is a named NPC.
