  • USS Sindbad (NCC-I823, Sawyer class light scout) has the distinct honor of carrying President Varis to Axanar for the signing of the Rehabilitation Treaty.[4]

  • USS Vasco da Gama (NCC-1472, Aldrin deep space frigate) is lost in an engagement with the Klingons.[7]
  • USS Siva (NCC-520) is the first of her class to complete a refit to Siva Flight II configuration.[8]
  • The Icarus and Ashanti class battle cruisers and Apache class heavy destroyers begin receiving updated transporters.[9]

  • The series of aggressive incidents by Klingons begun in 2246 subsides into aimless raiding.[13][14]
  • May: An explosion aboard USS Kaira (NCC-P831, Kiaga class perimeter action ship) kills two and leads to a redrawing of second-stage plasma leads for the forthcoming Agilis subclass.[15]
