  • USS Truman (NCC-1115, Proxima class) serves as the command ship in anti-Klingon actions.[12]
  • The following battles occur (presumably during the Four Years War): Nozseca (with five Icarus/Ashanti class battle cruisers severely damaged); Donatu (three Icarus/Ashanti class destroyed); Second Arquin (two Ashantis are ambushed with lethal results); Final Axanar.[13]
  • USS Byrd (first of her class) initiates first contact with the Lyran Star Empire during her 25-year voyage of galactic exploration.[14]
The decade is presumed, based upon the assumption the contact occurred on the outward portion of the mission. (It could also occur on the return leg, if the mission plan did not replicate the first leg on the second one.)
