Historical Events
- By: Test articles of PB-34 warp engines with 75 meter nacelles, a RMR-282 antimatter powerplant, and a 60 m diameter primary hull for the extended-range corvette design are ready.[1]
- USS Fortune (NCC-805, Sentinel cruiser) self-destructs in order to defeat raiders (later assessed to have been of Ferengi origin or employ). She is the last of her class to be lost.[2]
