• The Federation continues to utilize bioagents in attacks on the Klingon agricultural worlds.

• The final Ashanti class battle cruiser is constructed.

• USS Eagle sub-class commando cruiser begins construction.

• This is the target year for Project Starship.

• February 14: A distress call from the Donatu system sends Star Fleet scrambling for ships to rescue the frontier colony. Cruisers Endeavor and Yorkshire are destroyed, before Constitution, retasked during an evaluation cruise, arrives and engages a series of Klingon cruisers.
