Star Fleet Manpower

Star Fleet is an immense organization, made up of hundreds of thousands of personnel, all from varying species, planets and cultures and all with their own training and experiential backgrounds. Star Fleet Manpower ensures that all Star Fleet operations, vessels, starbases and agencies receive adequate and trained staffing. It oversees the education and training of all Star Fleet personnel, from enlisted tech to officer candidates and midshipman to highly experienced senior officers. It assigns new ensigns to their respective first tours of duty upon graduation and receives for action personnel requests, such as for transfers or additional education or training. The Chief of Manpower is also charged with overseeing the promotion boards that enable Star Fleet's "up or out" doctrine to work successfully.

Star Fleet Resources

Star Fleet Resources is charged with procuring through Federation and corporate sources the supplies and equipment Star Fleet will need, storing these resources in caches that support active and planned operations and ensuring their timely arrival, when needed. To do all this, Star Fleet Resources works closely with Star Fleet Engineering, especially in regards to storage and transportation.

Star Fleet Administration

  • Office of First Contact (Rear Admiral, NPC): establishes minimum standards for first contact and coordinates efforts with Star Fleet and Federation Department of Interstellar Relations.
  • Office of Planetary Affairs (Rear Admiral, NPC): conducts relations with member worlds -in their interactions with Star Fleet- to include installations, ship visits and requests of the fleet. Does not control any assets, but works as a liaison with the appropriate offices.
  • Memory Prime (Captain, NPC): archival program to synchronize, categorize and make available all of Star Fleet's unclassified information with the Federation's Memory series of archives
