- All of the variants of the Horizon class receive new auxiliary craft assignments.[6]
- The significance of the Willall challenge upon Klingon politicians and scientists is uncovered.[7]
- USS Truman (NCC-1115, Proxima class) serves as the command ship in anti-Klingon actions.[8]
- The following battles occur (presumably during the Four Years War): Nozseca (with five Icarus/Ashanti class battle cruisers severely damaged); Donatu (three Icarus/Ashanti class destroyed); Second Arquin (two Ashantis are ambushed with lethal results); Final Axanar.[9]
