Historical Events

  • Early: USS Bader departs the construction yard for final equipment installation.[1]
  • Dilithium replaces lithium in almost all warp propulsion systems.[2]
This is probably non-canonical (in the SFC game), since dilithium replaced fusion-powered warp drive. Consider removing.
  • Three mothballed Daedalus class starships are recommissioned for use by the SCE's Starship Contingent Teams.[3]
  • Construction begins on the first vessel of the second production run of the Allowat Sakima subclass (of the Ariadne) patrol corvette.[4]
The years of production are mostly conjecture.
  • USS Smith (Byrd class galactic survey cruiser) engages in a test cruise of her commando-carrier configuration.[5]
  • A modernization drive of the Nelson class scouts is completed.[6]
  • USS Bombay (NCC-1838, Miranda heavy frigate) is reassigned to Starbase 47.[7]
  • USS Ares (NCC-1650) is decommissioned.[8]
  • The last of the Thuringia class surveyors complete upgrades.[9]
  • The final Bonhomme Richard subclass heavy cruiser (original & Type 3) undergoes conversion to the Constitution Flight III configuration.[10]
