Historical Events

  • Early: The tenth Icarus class battle cruiser has been completed by this time. A second ten-ship run is ordered.[1]
  • The retirement of the Caracal class begins.[2]
  • USS Rahman (NCC-434, Syracuse sub-class) completes her conversion to the destroyer leader configuration of the Einstein sub-class and is re-commissioned as USS Kelvin (NCC-O434).[3]
  • Fifteen (of the 16 built) ships of the Bode class heavy scout enter service with Starfleet.[4]
  • Due to the limited nature and relatively safe operating conditions, Starfleet re-designates the Hunter class corvettes as patrol boats.[5]
The year was randomly determined, but the corvette designation would return in 2236.
  • Starfleet unleashes its designing and engineering teams on the production of a new wave of spaceships, powered by m/am reactors with natural dilithium reaction controls.[6]
Presumed to take place the year after the Bonaventure's testing.
  • The Flamsteed class scout drone enters service with Starfleet Intelligence.[7]
The succeeding Fraunhofer sub-class immediately enters production upon the completion of the last Flamsteed, as does the Flagstaff after the last Fraunhofer.
  • The HSI(U)-1B 'Bowditch' survey cutter (first variant of the Class G1 heavy warp shuttle) enters service with Starfleet.[8]
