Historical Events

  • The last unmodified Texas class light cruisers are retired en masse.[1]
  • The last B5 HSA(P/C)-20 'Chippewa' heavy atmospheric shuttles are withdrawn from service.[2]
  • The last Jidai subclass reconnaissance cruiser is lost to enemy action.[3]
  • The Pytheas exploratory cruiser subclass starts receiving an upgrade.[3]
  • The last of the Burke, Aldrin and Magellan subclass frigates (and scout cruisers) receive a transporter system upgrade.[4]
  • USS Iblis (NCC-528, Siva Flight II destroyer) hits the battle cruiser USS Newton (NCC-3822, Proxima battle cruiser) with her navigational deflector, killing 23 aboard the latter ship.[5]
  • Battle cruiser USS Proxima (NCC-1100) enters drydock to receive a propulsive upgrade, wherein the two large nacelles are replaced by two pairs of longer ones.[6]
  • The Richter class cruisers and Heston class battle cruisers enter an upgrade period, to include new weapon systems.[7]
  • The Icarus and Ashanti class battle cruisers and Apache class heavy destroyers begin a refit period.[8]
  • The Mojave subclass light cruisers begin to receive weapons upgrades.[9]
  • USS Dauntless (NCC-1697, Pyotr Velikiy support cruiser) is badly damaged in combat at Xarant, retires to Starbase 7 for repairs.[11]

  • The Capella class surveyor / supply ships are refitted with phasers.[13]
  • Construction of the final Paladin subclass destroyer is completed.[14]
  • Construction of the final Cochrane class colonizer (of the first batch) is completed.[15]
  • USS Gaikos (NCC-2740, Loknar frigate) evacuates 400 people from a failed terraforming outpost from under severe tectonic trouble.[16]
  • Aakenn and Westminster heavy transports enter the yards for a weapons upgrade.[17]
  • The final Finch subclass buoy tender is completed.[18]
  • The Whirlwind assault ship class gets an upgrade yard period.[19]
  • The Hephaestus subclass tender enters production.[20]
