Historical Events

• The First Cardassian-Klingon war concludes, due to the Cardassian's battered status and the Klingon Empire being still deeply in post-Praxis recovery.

The war began in 2286.

• The Gunum medical ship subclass enters service with Star Fleet.

• The head of Star Fleet R&D, Manfred E. (“Manny”) Fein-McHines, issues a report on the multiphasic subspace discoveries and presents a reformulated warp scale with nine energy-efficient integer speeds and an upper "infinite speed limit" of Warp 10.

This scale will be adopted in 2312.

• A slow rate of retirement of the Andor cruiser class stars with the first of the remaining 13.

The final one will be retired in 2319.
