• The final Gunum subclass medical ship enters service with Star Fleet.

• Star Fleet engineers develop a warp coil design utilizing a multilayer cortenide structure (referred to as multiphasic); several geometry innovations are finished and tested aboard various purpose-built or modified starships and lesser test rigs.
