Historical Events
- The First Cardassian-Klingon war concludes, due to the Cardassian's battered status and the Klingon Empire being still deeply in post-Praxis recovery.[1]

- The Gunum medical ship subclass enters service with Star Fleet.[2]
- The head of Star Fleet R&D, Manfred E. (“Manny”) Fein-McHines, issues a report on the multiphasic subspace discoveries and presents a reformulated warp scale with nine energy-efficient integer speeds and an upper "infinite speed limit" of Warp 10.[3]
