Historical Events
- The SS Valiant's recorder-marker is recovered and the fate of the missing vessel is realized.[1]
- The final vessel of the second production run of the Allowat Sakima subclass (of the Ariadne) patrol corvette is completed.[2]
- The years of production are mostly conjecture.
- Starfleet orders the decommissioning of the Baton Rouge heavy cruiser and Nordenskiöld light cruisers. (Only 2 Nordenskiölds are immediately struck by this order.)[3]
- The decommissions would spread out and continue until completion in 2277.
- USS Antares (NCC-F501, Sherman class) is destroyed by the metahuman powers of a young crash survivor.[4]
- One of the two mothballed, incomplete Amchitka light cruiser hulls, the pre-Wotan, is converted into a proof-of-concept testbed (NX-1390) for a ‘defensive monitor’ class.[5]
