  • The Baton Rouge heavy cruisers and Detroyat and Saladin destroyers start replacing the Manns and Rangers in the contested Federation/Klingon space.[2]
  • Starfleet struggles to find a suitable replacement for the PB-21 nacelle for the Burke series frigates.[3]

Events

  • The last Y class transports cease operation in the Federation (per official records) this decade.[4]
  • The remaining Iceland class destroyers (long grounded) are scrapped for construction materials.[5]
  • The Watt class fleet tanker/transports are ordered de-commissioned and sold for scrap.[6]
  • The Ariadne class patrol corvettes (and its subclasses) are collectively painted more subdued colors and sensor-absorbing coatings, in order to better hide from aggressors.[7]
