Historical Events

• By: Dezzla's Disease develops on Argelius II, devastating the southern continent.

• Star Fleet is starting to withdraw the Sentinel class scout cruiser from scouting duties, as the class was now slower than many standard warp four ships in service.

• USS Bastion (NCC-811, Sentinel scout cruiser) is lost fighting a Klingon raiding group. Fighting against overwhelming numerical odds, she demonstrates the inferiority of Klingon preparedness, eliminating five opponents before being lost.

• The Sentinel class and Armstrong subclass receive a weapons upgrade.

• USS Spann (NCC-790) is the first of the Ranger sub-class to receive an overhaul.

• The Titan sub-class shuttlecarrier enters service with Star Fleet.

• The final ship of the Hermes scout class is completed.

• The Wanda subclass (of the Sherman class) cargo drone enters service with Star Fleet.

• The Richter class cruiser enters service with Star Fleet.

• Star Fleet decides to start overhauling old Texas class light cruisers for front line duty, in order to overcome the low ship numbers. USS Rub al Khali (NCC-926) is selected to be the first to receive an overhaul (to what will be named the Navigator sub-class).

• Chiokis starts construction on the USS Marklin, but is ordered a week later to halt progress due to a legal complaint brought forth by an alliance of other shipbuilders.
