Historical Events
- Starfleet is starting to withdraw the Sentinel class scout cruiser from scouting duties, as the class was now slower than many standard warp four ships in service.[1]
- USS Bastion (NCC-811, Sentinel class) is lost fighting a Klingon raiding group she sensed from afar and engaged thanks to her superior speed. Fighting against overwhelming numerical odds, she demonstrated the inferiority of Klingon preparedness, eliminating five opponents before being lost.[1][2]
- The Sentinel class and Armstrong subclass receive a weapons upgrade.[1]
- The final ship of the Hermes scout class is completed.[4]
