This subclass establishes the ability for the remaining three later subclasses to achieve higher warp speeds (and rated on the TNG scale).

• The manufacturer limit of The Oberth and Garneau type vessels is reset at the significantly faster warp 7.1 on the new 2312 scale, after the multiphasic breakthrough of 2305.
