Historical Events

• The Texas class light cruisers USS Takla Makan (NCC-904), USS Sonora (NCC-907) and USS Taimyr (NCC-920) enter overhaul periods to have their shuttlebays replaced with large deuterium tanks and extensive fuel transfer interfaces, in order to be equipped for use as frontline replenishment tankers.

• The Texas class light cruiser Labrador (NCC-916) enters an overhaul period to receive a ventrally-carried subspace antenna for long range tactical scans.

• The Alexandria class freighters are stricken from the SMM's rolls.

• Archanis, Cursa and Donatu all rapidly fall to the newly-expansionist Klingons.

The date is dependent upon a period just prior to the Four Years War.

• Altair, Izar and Melev, and numerous fringe worlds, begin discussions of forming non-Federation ‘defense zones’ inside the Federation.

The year is a best guess, as it occurred after the annexations of Archanis, Cursa and Donatu but prior to the Babel Conference of 2238.
