Historical Events
- The last of the Stuart class transport, specifically the Siebel (FC-100) subclass, was withdrawn from Starfleet service.[1]
- USS Icarus II (NCC-263), Placido class surveyor, is the first to establish contact with a winged – and, indeed, truly airborne – sentient humanoid species on a Virginis II.[3]
- Reports of significant fatigue of the Caracal class pylon arrangement are received by ships with an operational status of three years.[4]
- USS Horizon (NCC-1000), first of its class, enters service with Starfleet. Construction of 12 more of the initial design is started (with 6 additional funded), the first ones to be completed in 2196.[5]
- There were a handful of Horizon class secondary hulls ordered and completed, though not all became Horizons.
