Historical Events

• The last of the Stuart class transport, specifically the Siebel (FC-100) subclass, was withdrawn from Starfleet service.

• The last of the Cavalry class destroyer is withdrawn from Starfleet service.

• USS Icarus II (NCC-263), Placido class surveyor, is the first to establish contact with a winged – and, indeed, truly airborne – sentient humanoid species on a Virginis II.

• Reports of significant fatigue of the Caracal class pylon arrangement are received by ships with an operational status of three years.

• USS Horizon (NCC-1000), first of its class, enters service with Starfleet. Construction of (at least) 12 more of the initial design is started, the first ones completed in 2196.

There were a handful of Horizon class secondary hulls ordered and completed, though not all became Horizons.
