Historical Events

- A decade after her decommissioning and bitter preservation battles, ex-USS Mojave becomes the sole museum specimen for the entire Texas family.[2]

- The last four Kitty Hawks-including USS Trailblazer (NCC-1596) and USS Scovil (NCC-1598)-had been quietly transferred to TacFleet and were not decommmisioned based upon this date.
- USS Kongo (NCC-1710, Constitution heavy cruiser) suffers a crippling onboard explosion.[4]
- USS Pompey (NCC-506) and USS Suleiman (NCC-508), both Pompey subclass, are retired.[5]
- The final Aakenn subclass heavy transport is either retired from Star Fleet duty or sold to commercial interests.[6]
- The final Constitution Flight III heavy cruisers are either refitted or decommissioned.[4]
- The final Samson fleet tug/tender is converted to Flight II configuration.[7]
