Historical Events
- Early: The remaining Detroyat class ships have the decommissioning order overturned and are directed to conversion to a special sensor platform role.[1]
- USS Ahaw Kin (subclass of Ariadne patrol corvette) enters service.[4]
- The year of production is mostly conjecture.
- Two convoys, including Bering class cargo drones and escorted by light cruisers, engage the (presumably Klingon) enemy.[5]
- The Detroyat heavy destroyer class is no longer active (having been converted to Miramar heavy scout class).[1]
- The Miramar sub-class heavy scout (re-)enters service with Star Fleet.[1]
- USS Alexandria (NCC-422, Siva II sub-class) is destroyed and USS Carthage (NCC-428, same) and USS Massilia (NCC-421, same) damaged in an audacious ramming attack by Klingon special forces at Starbase 19. Losses of personnel are light, but material damage is too great to warrant repairs of the crippled destroyers.[6]
- Construction starts on the Keppler sub-class of the Ptolemy fleet tug/tenders, the first of the Ptolemies to incorporate the re-authorized dilithium warp cores.[7]
- The Pyotr Velikiy class heavy cruiser is no longer in service with Star Fleet.[8]
- The last Pyotr Velikiy will actually cease service when it enters drydock for conversion to Mk II or III configuration, prior to this year.
- The final Pyotr Velikiy (Mk I) class heavy cruiser finishes conversion to the Mk III support cruiser configuration.[8]
- The final Sawyer class light scouts are decommissioned.[9]
- Select Constitution class heavy cruisers start receiving specified ugrades.[10]
- The Star's End colony is founded, the largest single sortie within the construction history of the Cochrane class colonizer.[11]
