Historical Events

  • The SS Valiant's recorder-marker is recovered and the fate of the missing vessel is realized.[1]
  • The final vessel of the second production run of the Allowat Sakima subclass (of the Ariadne) patrol corvette is completed.[2]
The years of production are mostly conjecture.
  • Starfleet orders the decommissioning of the Baton Rouge heavy cruiser and Nordenskiöld light cruisers. (Only 2 Nordenskiölds are immediately struck by this order.)[3]
The decommissions would spread out and continue until completion in 2277.
  • USS Antares (NCC-F501, Sherman class) is destroyed by the metahuman powers of a young crash survivor.[4]
  • One of the two mothballed, incomplete Amchitka light cruiser hulls, the pre-Wotan, is converted into a proof-of-concept testbed (NX-1390) for a ‘defensive monitor’ class.[5]
  • USS Napoleon (NX-1384) is commissioned as a prototype cruiser-carrier.[6]
The concept would be canceled, as a result of testing of the prototype.
  • USS Smith (Byrd class galactic survey cruiser) launches on her second galactic survey voyage.[6]
