Historical Events

  • The final Abbott subclass heavy repair ship is decommissioned.[2]
They were still independent in the late 23rd century, but a member by 2378.
  • The Sagan science scout subclass enters service with Star Fleet.[4]
This subclass establishes the ability for the remaining three later subclasses to achieve higher warp speeds (and rated on the TNG scale).
  • The manufacturer limit of the Oberth and Garneau type vessels is reset at the significantly faster warp 7.1 on the new 2312 scale, after the multiphasic breakthrough of 2305.[5]
  • USS Knutson (NCC-1298, Baker Flight II destroyer, the only one of its flight) is decommissioned.[3][6]
