• The Siebel FC-80 subclass strike transport begins production.

• The first flight of Siebel FC-80 subclass strike transport enters service with the United Earth Stellar Navy.

• Zefram Cochrane performs the dedication at the opening of the Warp 5 Complex, a facility built to design and build Earth's first warp 5 engine.

• Zefram Cochrane leaves the spaceport of Cochrane City aboard a small warp yacht for parts unknown; after a brief stop at Port Centauri, he is never heard from again.

• The Tomobiki, commanded by Dave Glick, launches from the Sol system on a mission of deep space exploration.

This ship may have been an RT-2203.

• Earth Orbital Control is constructed by UESPA.
