Mission Statement

The United Earth Stellar Navy (UESN) was formed from the 2069 split of the International Space Agency into two parts (the second being the United Earth Space Probe Agency), as part of the formation of the United Earth Defense Pact. The UESN was charged with taking control of all armed Human spacecraft within 5,000 AUs of Sol (per the Sparon-DeSoto Treaty), policing and defending near-Earth space. The upper-echelon United Earth Space Central was the coordinating and command office within the organization.

Notes

The existence of a United Earth Stellar Navy is not supported by any source (though the United Earth Space Central[1] is), but stands to reason when confronted with the need for such an organization under the contested United Earth Defense Pact umbrella. Interestingly, the term was used as part of a pitch for a post-TNG movie series that would take place during the Romulan War and show the merging of the (previously unstated) UESN with the UESF.

Background

The United Earth Defense Pact is the third "commander" of the SFC RPG, acting to coordinate all space activities, both orbital, interplanetary and interstellar, before being relieved by the United Earth Starfleet in 2087.
