Work pod

General name for manned sub-impulse craft used for construction and service tasks in space. Although most common near space stations, work pods are often carried by all kinds of starships, although the more capable shuttlepods sometimes replace them. A variety of external tools and modules are carried by the work pods to facilitate a multitude of tasks.
