Historical Events

• The remaining Homa Bay vessels of the Roanoke class transports were updated with 1-layer conformal shields.

• The final Starfleet Drexler class training frigates are retired from service. Some are transferred to the Federation Transit Authority and the Federation Customs Service.

It is known the last 27 manufactured Drexlers were not provided to Starfleet, but to 'local defense duty'. In the 2180s and 2190s, some are clearly at work with the FCS. In the 2250s, the FTA has some Drexlers though it is not clear what the source was (Starfleet, FCS or the FTA as original operators). Instead, game-canon interprets that the FCS had additional decommissioned ships provided to them, while the FTA receives their decommissioned ships as all-new inventory.
