History
- 2092: Humans on the neighboring Tau Ceti Prime make first contact with the Kaferians.[1]
- The reason for doing so is not yet known, but this may have occurred because the Kaferians achieved spaceflight or the presence of "alien" life on Prime could not go unnoticed by Tau Ceti III.
- 2155: Earth, Andor, Vulcan, Tellar, Alpha Centauri and minor worlds (including Axanar and Kaferia) approve the first draft an agreement for an alliance to be formed for trade, cultural exchange, and for mutual protection.[2]
- This is SFC-canon concession to the "Coalition of Planets".
