Historical Events

• The last Bryne class hospital ship, USS Carrington (NH-205), is retired.

• In an early test of a forthcoming torpedo upgrade, USS Allegany (NCC-754, Caracal command cruiser) is lost in an explosion, claiming 86 lives and ripping open a spacedock above Arcturus. The event is downplayed and the truth classified.

• The final ship (of the initial 3) of the Whorfin battle cruiser class are completed and enter service.

• The remaining Trent (and Kovaris sub-class) class light destroyers receive warp nacelle upgrades.

• April: USS Lowell (NCCI250, first of her class) enters service with Star Fleet, and begins space trials.
