Historical Events
- The third flight of Durance class transports, the Chryse subclass, enters service with the UE Starfleet.[1]
- The date of first service is assumed, as the source does not say when they were produced, other than to suggest they were the result of wartime production.
- When Romulan forces were feared to reach Earth, frantic measures were taken to step up local defenses, and numerous outdated Djartannas were summoned to act as shields for the homeworld. Several engagements with Romulan advance forces ended in Romulan retreat, but Starfleet now had to assume the enemy had accurate knowledge of the inner worlds and their defenses.[2]
- The Ganges class destroyers were pressed to system defense service and began to fight their battles under impulse power.[3]

- November: Following severe battle damage, Enterprise (NX-01, class lead) is recalled to Earth for an experimental overhaul.[13]
