Historical Events

• The Conestoga's reactor is shut down on Terra Nova.

• An exchange with the Klingons at Boreth resulted in "consequences" that directly led to the development of the Prime Directive.

Presumably before the belligerence indicated below.

• The Klingons become newly belligerent, though logistically utterly unprepared for war.

• USS Sentry (NCC-1010, Advance class) is lost in an engagement with Klingons during the refugee crisis of Gamma Demetrius.

• The final three vessels of the Advance class are suspended, until weaknesses unveiled with the loss of USS Sentry are addressed; the result is the Whorfin subclass. The final ships (of the initial 9 Advances) are completed and enter service.

• The sixth Lincoln class frigate is commissioned; four more are are nearly completed.

• The production run for the Lincoln class frigates is cut from thirty-five to the ten completed or nearing completion.

• The Lincoln class frigates are assigned to local patrol duties.
