  • Early decade: The Valkyr and Titan sub-class shuttlecarriers are ordered scrapped; only Hypsipyle (NCC-444) of Valkyr class and the Hamilton (NCC-452) of Titan class are left, as orbital storage facilities at the Qualor II fleet depot.[1]
  • The Masterson heavy endurance cutters (formerly Drexler class frigates) are retired from Federation Transit Authority.[2]
  • Starfleet dares (again) to field lightly armed deep space surveyors.[3]
