Historical Events

• Poor relative propulsive performance is the main factor in ending exploration deployments by Texas class light cruisers. Most are re-assigned to in-system defense.

• All Caracal class ships receive a powerplant upgrade that is based upon development taking place in the Mann project.

• USS Altay (NCC-911, Texas class) is assigned to be the range support ship for testing new starships.

• The Trent class light destroyer (both the phase gun and torpedo types) enters service with Starfleet.
