The following entries are from a number of sources which I have attempted to keep from getting tangled. They will remain here until I am confident they will not muddy the SFC canon time. Priority is given to the following sources in the order presented, though not exclusively:

Current Status: consolidation into SFC timeline through 1469.

The year is SFC conjecture.
  • 1748: The First (Klingon) Empire launch their first slower-than-light generation ships to explore and colonize nearby star systems. These ships take decades to reach their destinations, carrying hundreds, even thousands of Klingons in suspended animation. If they find their destination uninhabited, the Klingons colonize. Where they find other civilizations, they conquer. In time, the Klingon Empire encompasses a cluster of systems surrounding Qo'noS.[1][2]
The date is (heavy) conjecture. It took almost a century for the Klingons to recover from the Hur'Q invasion. Then a statement from the source suggests that scientific and technological progression was slowed, despite devotion to get to the stars. "The program suffered from various setbacks as civil wars split the Empire from time to time, and many early Klingon astronauts died in the name of science, but every effort taught the Klingons a little more."
  • 21st century: By the early: The Klingon space program is well underway. By this time, the Klingon Empire encompasses a cluster of systems surrounding Qo'noS.[1][2]
This timepoint for the clustering of colonized systems is conjecture; it may have occurred well before this, but it certainly existed by 2000.
  • 2069: The last Klingon emperor, Kamtav, dies without a successor. The High Council secures power for itself and the Chancellor, Karvan, assumes executive power. The role of Emperor is left vacant. Klingons mark this as the end of the First Empire and the beginning of the Second.[1][3][4]
The Chancellor's name appears to have come from conjecture based on FASA history.
  • 2073: Klingon Chancellor Karvan is caught and killed in the middle of a power struggle; Kagga ascends to the position but is executed one hour later for treason.[4]
The High Council sees 25 years of subversion and treason and 5 "weak" chancellors.
  • 2170s: The central authority of the Klingon Empire fragments, as the various Houses focus their individual attentions on their frontiers.[7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
  • 2180s: The central authority of the Klingon Empire is rather powerless, as the various Houses continue to focus their individual attentions on their frontiers.[7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
  • 2204: Klingon Chancellor Keth dies of old age and is seceded by Kadrya.[4]
"Path to Glory" indicates this takes place during a war and that it was with the Federation. It cannot be the Four Years war (which started in 2241), but I now surmise it is instead a general civil war precipitated by the Augment Crisis. "Edge Of Midnight" has this take place in 2230 under the reign of "Chancellor Durak", but I'm merging the two historical concepts into what is presented here.
  • 2245: Klingon Chancellor Karhammu is forced to abdicate the role and is seceded by his son, Kassa.[4]
The fanon source indicates his son is Mow'ga; while FASA indicates his son was Kessa. I've decided Mow'ga (not his son) kills Kessa in a duel less than 5 years later after Karhammu abdicates.
  • 2250: Klingon Chancellor Kassa is challenged to a duel and looses to Mow'ga.[4]
The fanon source indicates this Mow'ga is the son of Karhammu; while FASA indicates his son was Kessa. I've decided Mow'ga (not his son) kills Kessa in a duel less than 5 years later after Karhammu abdicates.
In my head, Mow'ga was less capable of firmly leading the empire and
  • February 2259: The Klingon chancellor approves a mass state purchase of slaves from the Orion Syndicate and other traders, instantly creating a major market.[7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
It will continue through mid-2261.
  • February 16th, 2260: The Raktajino Revolution begins on the Klingon world Mastocal, as savan (indentured workers) rioted in protest of falling wages among a period of economic stagnation.[9] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
The movement is essentially over in March 2261.
  • March 2261: The Raktajino Revolution is crushed by a reinvigorated Imperial Navy enjoying the suborned support of the Great Houses.[9] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
  • Mid-2261: The Klingon campaign of eradication against the Suliban ends.[7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
It will continue through mid-2261.
This is where alpha-canon characters are merged in.
This base is located very close to Federation space, in an area of Klingon territory secured as a result of the 2257 Armistice.
The source has all territory spinward of a line drawn between Axanar and Regulus ceded, where the former is only 7 lightyears from Sol and cutting off both Andoria and Vulcan. That seems far too extreme even for the Klingons to demand, so I'm leaving the "T'Kuvma Line" undefined for the moment.
  • February 2267: The Klingon Empire orders an overall military & intelligence mobilization.[7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
  • June 21st, 2267: In what will become known as the Four Days War, open warfare erupts along the Klingon border.[12][7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
The date comes from Edge of Midnight.
  • June 25th, 2267: A cessation of hostilities with the Klingons is mandated by the Organians.[12][13][14][7] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
The Organian peace. The date comes from Edge of Midnight.
This would take place prior to the TOS episode "The Enterprise Incident".
  • Late 2269: Chancellor Sturka is succeeded by Kesh.[11] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
  • 2292: Klingon Chancellor Kesh is challenged to a duel and looses to Gorkon, who succeeds him.[4] [Already embedded into SFC timeline.]
Memory Beta recites a different story, with a different chancellor seceded by Gorkon, that has several issues because of beta-canon contradictions. This fanon source clears it up in a preferred fashion.
  • 2292: The treacherous Romulans abrogate the alliance and eject Klingon vessels from their territory, ambushing and destroying any that remained behind.[1]
  • 2311: Azetbur, Chancellor of the Klingon High Council, is assassinated by Ditagh, a mentee of General Kaarg, the latter whom assumes the position.[16][4]
This differs from LUG's version where she steps down after re-instituting the traditional Klingon values and social structure. Beta canon appears strongest coming from the (published) novel, Serpents Among the Ruins.
  • 2323: Klingon Chancellor Kaarg is challenged to a duel and looses to his former mentee, Ditagh.[4]
