Sturka, son of Sevek (2190–2269), was the Chancellor of the Klingon Empire from 2262 to 2269 and a transformative figure who reshaped the nation from a decentralized feudal confederation into a centralized military autocracy. Known by the moniker "the Boss" for his cold efficiency and disregard for traditional aristocratic honor, Sturka rose through the ranks of the Imperial Navy before orchestrating the "Pink K'ajardjaj" coup of 2263, which systematically purged the leadership of the Great Houses and consolidated power under the Imperial Chancellery. His secularist and centralist premiership was characterized by the creation of a pervasive surveillance state under the Ministry of Internal Security (RoH), the chattel enslavement of populations such as the Suliban and Efrosians for industrial production, and a single-minded strategic preparation for total war with the United Federation of Planets. Although his regime achieved unprecedented military and industrial mobilization, his ideological commitment to the Khomerex Zha through a "warfare state" philosophy ultimately propelled the Empire toward the Four Days War of 2267.[1]
