dates are speculative/flexible
only spec known is smaller than the Pointer, which could be mass (29,200 mt) or dimensions (79, 72.8, & 14,4 meters, respectively)
I've determined that the Tellarites provided 23 Kuhulkkas to the UFP Star Fleet, in the NCC-L range.

This was originally (and, as far as I can tell, only) used as a smuggler vessel in the TNG episodes "Unification Parts I and II". That allows it to have performed as a pre-UFP gunboat. (However, if Adrasil prefers to come up with a new design, then by all means!)
