• This was originally (and, as far as I can tell, only) used as a smuggler vessel in the TNG episodes "Unification Parts I and II". That allows it to have performed as a pre-UFP gunboat. (However, if Adrasil prefers to come up with a new design, then by all means!)

• It was demilitarized and sold off in 2236.

• I've determined that the Tellarites provided 23 Kuhulkkas to the UFP Star Fleet, in the NCC-L range.
