Historical Events

- The final three vessels of the Advance class are suspended, until weaknesses unveiled with the loss of USS Sentry are addressed; the result is the Whorfin subclass. The final ships (of the initial 9 Advances) are completed and enter service.[2]
- The sixth Lincoln class frigate is commissioned; four more are are nearly completed.[3]
