Historical Events
- The DY-950 is no longer in service with Star Fleet nor any major corporations. The model would continue to be used by smaller companies and individual traders.[1]

- Some Indianola sub-class destroyers start receiving transporter upgrades.[4]

- USS Avenger (NCC-1860) becomes the first Surya subclass heavy frigate to become operational with a linear-coil upgrade.[7]
