- Construction begins on the first of the Cavalry class light phase gun destroyers.[4]
- Two Dnestr class commercial transports are purchased for Calvary class light destroyer crew training duty, and modified internally to provide a more destroyer-like service environment.[4]
- The last holdouts from the Traité d'Unification—including Australia, China, and the United States of America—sign on, solidifying United Earth's authority over the entirety of the planet.[5]
