Vulcan Expeditionary Group

The Vulcan Expeditionary Group was the Vulcan service branch comparable to Star Fleet. Upon the formation of the United Federation of Planets (2161), the branch assumed oversight of Star Fleet's Research & Development Command, under the auspices of Admiral T'Viri. The department returned to its state duties when Star Fleet reorganized in 2208.

Members might be trained at the Vulcan Learning Center and the Vulcan Science Academy. Before 2249, no non-Vulcans had been accepted into the Group.

• The seal used for the Vulcan Expeditionary Group originates from Brad Wilder's Star Trek Design Project, where it was identified as "Vulcan Space Command" (and not as "Vulcan Expeditionary Group").
