Historical Events

• The Ottawa subclass of the Hercules transports finished receiving significant warp engine upgrades.

• All of the Durance class transports (and related subclasses) are retired.

• The USS Aurora, USS Mistral and USS Rio Negro (all Helena class cruisers) are deployed to the Tarn conflict (and lost).

• The sixth Poseidon class heavy cruiser clears its box dock, to enter service with the UFP Star Fleet.

• The 'corvette' designation for the Hippolyta class vessels is officially changed to 'clipper'.

The year of the official change is conjecture, but most likely occurred after the war.

• The Merchant class heavy transport is introduced by Vickers for commercial use on the fully re-opened Federation cargo routes.

The class being built by Vickers is game-canon, but it did originate with Earth.

• The Vulcan company Panastris unveils the Gadshen ("Aurora") liaison craft.

• March 24th: Lecheb sh'Makesh is elected as colonial governor of Alrond.

• Alrond declares itself independent of the (new) United Federation of Planets and the seat of the "Andorian Empire-in-Exile".

This occurs after Lecheb sh'Makesh's election.

• April 4: Federation Council President Thomas Vanderbilt finalizes a trade agreement with the Global League of Lyaksti'kton and the Kingdom of M'Tezir (both of Sauria) on Vega Colony.
