Historical Events
- Late Year: Captain Garth of the USS Xenophon, investigating the attack upon Archanis IV, finds a disabled Klingon cruiser inside Federation space. This leads him to discover the presence of a Klingon garrison on the nearby Federation protectorate world of Axanar. Klingon Admiral Kkorhetza declines the opportunity to surrender the garrison on Axanar.[1]
- The year is predicated on the assumption that the investigation (and discovery of Klingon presence) occurred no later than the year after the attack on Archanis IV.
- As more modern cruisers enter service, the five re-activated Caracal class command cruisers are again retired and sold to the Ktarian defense fleet (following re-engining).[2]
