Historical Events
- 05 April: Zefram Cochrane tests the Phoenix, demonstrating warp drive by achieving Warp 1 for approximately one minute in the Sol system.[2]
- The Guide has the launch and first contact event occurring a day earlier; the assumption follows the canon Star Trek: First Contact movie.
- 05 April: A passing Vulcan ship, the T'Plana-Hath, detects the warp signature and lands in Bozeman later that evening, officially making first contact with Humans.[3]
- 26 April: Zefram Cochrane releases all documents on his warp technology into the public domain.[4]
- Three weeks after the T’Plana-Hath lands on Earth.
- Four new Liberty hulls have been launched to orbit for installation of systems, in a desperate bid to show teeth in front of the Vulcan expeditions.[5]
- The source says that six hulls have been launched by early 2064, so the assumption is that a majority of them were launched post-First Contact in 2063.
