Historical Events

  • The United Federation of Planets rejects the membership bid by Bolarus IX, claiming the Bolians remain unstable. A world government would have to survive the coming of a new generation for the Bolians to prove their commitment to world peace.[1]
Background material is per the Star Trek Roleplaying Game, Book 7: Worlds. The year is also game-canon, presumed to occur in a short time after first contact, but enough time to allow the planet to meet minimal membership requirements.
The 2260 date is a best guess. The source indicates they were the first of three systems to rejoin the Federation in the 2260s.
  • The Valkyr class shuttlecarrier begins the last of many yard periods for electronic upgrades.[3]
