Historical Events
- The Vanguard class was retired two decades after the war, never receiving NCC registries.[1]
- Speculation may suggest the class remained active under the UESF banner, as it wound down/transferred assets to UFP Starfleet.
- The 2180 Starfleet Defense Review is completed. An explicit decision is made to not develop a successor of any sort to the escort fighter line.[2]
