Historical Events

• After twenty years of service in the patrol forces in the Romulan Neutral Zone, the Mercury class scout is retired from service with the UFP Star Fleet, with two eventually transferred to the Star Fleet Museum. They would continue to be sailed by private starship enthusiasts.

• The last Bradley class 'space tank' was stricken from active strength and immediately recycled for raw materials.

• The Montcalm and Meridio classes are retired from Star Fleet (and often purchased by private and corporate operators).

• The last Ilthirin class couriers is decommissioned from service with Star Fleet and the Andorian Imperial Guard.

• Kloratis Drives is formed on Tellar.

• The Rigelians and Kaylar (of Beta Rigel IV and V) join the United Federation of Planets.

• The Star Fleet Academy releases its response report, "Educational Paradigms for the Future Fleet", calling for an expansion of the institution, both by enlarging its capacity to train officer candidates, but also provide advanced education at the graduate and doctorate levels.

• The United Federation of Planets extends membership to Aulac.

• Human colonists found Polar City on Rigel IV.

• The last Phinda class cruiser class is decommissioned from the Tellarite defense service.
